I just got a promo for "hand-crafted cannabis prerolls." From a startup. Which is selling things that are *Federally illegal* and allows you to pay with a credit card.
I think my local cannabis shop in Bellevue would have sold me pre-rolled joints, but I wouldn't consider hand-rolled to be a selling point, particularly. (I knew someone who rolled her own tobacco cigarettes, and it wasn't because "hand-crafted" was better, it was to save money.)
But as you say, the odd part is the credit cards: the closest you can get to that in Washington is that the stores may be set up to let you use a debit card, or have an ATM in the corner. The state government in Olympia is handling a lot of cash these days.
