Jun. 5th, 2018 11:38 amA message just showed up in my inbox headed "An email from your father". For a moment, my heart leapt: maybe my dad left some sort of "if I die" delayed letter?
Then I checked the FROM: line and it was Cards Against Humanity. It was an ad saying "Your dad says he wants you to buy this expansion."
That was a stab in the heart I didn't need. I've written them a strong letter explaining just how dumb that idea was. Imagine if your father was an abusive stalker, or had abandoned the family. If you were searching for your father, or for your birthparents, or a thousand other things.
