On further checking, that precise phrase isn't in the KJV or D-R, although both do use the word emerods in 1 Samuel 5. (The modern translations I just checked mostly had "tumours", with one "hæmorrhoids".)

Mind you, there were communities of English (and possibly also Scottish) monks in exile on the continent - that's why the RC accepted English translation was produced at Douai and Rheims.
