Huzzah! I am immensely fond of "The Ballad of Hollis Brown" and "With God on Our Side" as well as the title track. You'll have to tell us your impressions.
I never started being a Dylan fan because I mostly picked up music from my husband and parents. My husband didn't like Dylan's voice (but adored Leonard Cohen, go figure.) My parents had Nashville Skyline, which I loved to bits.
In my 40s I picked up music from NPR (hello, Vienna Teng and Dar Williams!); in my 50s I have finally started exploring for myself.
Heh, I listened to that a lot in college (was a big Dylan fan) but I don't think I've heard it in decades....might be time to listen again. //fires up Spotify
