Yesterday the gardener came to me to show me something. He kept asking a question and I kept spreading my hands and saying "I don't know." He said "You don't understand me, do you?" I said "No, but I speak a little Spanish." Then he asked me, enunciating carefully, whether I knew that the next-door neighbor -- not the shouty one -- was throwing dog poop over our shared fence. Then he indicated a *large* pile of dog poop behind our hedge. Years' worth.

None of it is fresh, so it is possible the neighbor has given up this bad habit.

Thanks! I need to have it power-washed. No, because of the weird layout of our street they're actually around the corner from us but their yard backs on our fence.
