Shakespeare, Loves Labours Lost. Some chunk of Loves Labours Wonne, nominating as chars Princess, Navarre, Berowne, Rosaline, Katherine, Dumaine. (I could be easily convinced to sub Maria and Longeville for the last pair.)
Jilly Cooper, Riders universe. (Does it have a formal name? e: Rutshire Chronicles) Still working out which chars to ask for; suggestions welcome.
Susanna Clark, Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell universe. Lady Pole, Arabella Strange, Mrs Field, Cassandra Parbringer, Miss Tobias. (The last three are the Ladies of Grace Adieu.)
